Is that legal? Well, while we can certainly argue that it is a gray area, the answer is almost certainly no. And no, you don’t need a subscription to a premium subscription service to access them. With Kodi, you can get access to streams of the latest content including new releases. They can give you regular weather updates, create smart photo carousels for your home screen, play live radio or TV, and search the internet for available streams of the hottest content. Kodi also works a bit like an independent OS, in that you can download apps for Kodi, called add-ons, that can do a huge variety of things. This means better searching and browsing. More than just playing your own files, Kodi brings in information from online databases, such as IMDB, to automatically categorize your music and provide blurbs, actors, directors, and further information.
